MOT Tester Training Requirements
Working at, or own an MOT Test Centre? As a mechanic you must be qualified to perform MOTs to the DVSA standards. Once qualified you will be required to complete annual training and an assessment.
To become a qualified MOT Tester and complete the course with us, you must meet the necessary training requirements:
4 years full time experience
Full UK valid driving licence
No unspent criminal convicitions
NVQ Level 3 or *Equivalent

Training
4 - 5 Days
Depending on your training schedule and availability, the MOT Tester course can be completed in 4 – 5 days. We also offer flexible training including evenings and weekends, please speak to our team to discuss the best option for you.
Theory & routine demonstration on class 4 & 7 bay
Our courses are delivered through a combination of theory in a classroom and practical routine demonstration on class 4 & 7 in our dedicated garage.

Assessment
MOT Testing Manual
We provide everything you need to revise for your final assessment, including a copy of the MOT Testing Manual.
Online & Practical
The final assessment is both an online & practical assessment completed at our training facility.
